🦁🐺CHELSEA 4-0 WOLVES
Chelsea DS getting past the hurdle, against a Wolves side who didn't create much bar a spell of pressure where they couldn't connect with crosses.
Funnelling attacks towards the KRISPROLL Cafú 🇸🇪🥖Antwi is picked up by opponents and the lack of trust in Dyer to manipulate the ball deep means he does it anyway and the two midfielders who rotate with him look like fish out of water once occupying space to enter final third.
Not sure where to run like Gallagher or Ryan Yates would
Would have preferred Dyer 8 and McNeilly 10-ish to receive and turn. Two CMs was redundant against a 541.
That being said Rak-Sakyi finally showed some glimpses of box to box play popping up with a goal to open the scoring ; carries which we saw elements of last season but not at all this season - another player who hasn't improved (or platformed in a role that empowers him to) by the modern revolutionary 442 cooked by Filipe Coehlo.
Mheuka as a touchline left striker doesn't seem an optimal use of his skillset and impact. Murray Campbell and Emenalo faultless as CB pairing.
Ishe offering a variety of solutions with his receptions and movement.
Harrison Murray Campbell with a John Terry inspired looping header across
Stutter earlier than Kavuma; why if the former is free to go.
Ryan Kavuma-McQueen displaying his peculiarness once again with obvious give and go with insolent success and popping up with his trademark goal tapping the ball in at the far post. Richard Olise came on. Brodick Hughes crashing the box with a few runs from deep, not getting the target
🐺🟠Bastien Meupyou 🇫🇷 starting at the back, standing out by going to ground when he shouldn't and lose headers to McNeilly. Ask some next Internet scout he's higher rated than Acheampong
9 Dan Angel had decent movement across the backline but had to do more to connect with deliveries in the box. Pairing of 11 and 10 Edozie and Lopes with flashes but nothing conclusive in terms of end product.
