CHARLTON 2-2 BIRMINGHAM
Addicks back from 0-2 down, a fiery game with more things you expect at senior level. Which also put certain players into trouble despite other qualities you like to find at Academy level.
Charlton scoring two outrageous goals
Charlton: I liked Ibrahim FULLAH, industrious 8 with carries and vision. Scored a top corner equaliser from 20 yards out. Also quite impressive for how consistent he is at closing down.
Kai ENSLIN plays everywhere, now scoring from halfway from a botched GK clearance.
ASIIMIWE will make the step in football league, to slither away and roll wingers pressing him.
#12 Manu Wales came on and had surprising problem solving to escape pressure.
MWAMBA (8) with good ideas in possession but not enough impact off the ball (as a 8 in 433), mostly in comparison to Fullah who was very good at it
Henry RYLAH (7) put some very threatening deliveries across the face of goal
For Birmingham
Really liked WODSKOU the CF who rattled the CBs all game who swapped side a few times.
Alfie CHANG (6) "Changy" (never change with nicknames, England. England-y) takes the best set pieces I've seen this season at U21 level.
Sahid KAMARA (11) making his fullbacks life easier for his relentless closing down. Scored a goal through traffic.
Right back Pendleton had good bursts and carries out of the defence a few times.
Game played at Dartford's new cinderblock stadium, on a dry pitch full of sand. Lot of bounces, and we are really close to the action That was a U21 PL Cup game
